Four budding scientists from Québec will represent Canada at the 2012 Intel International Science & Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF), held from May 13 to 18 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

This prestigious international competition welcomes some 1,500 young innovators each year, selected from among the more than 7 million high school students who compete in local science fairs in 65 countries around the world.

The Québec's participants:

  • Jean-Michel Laliberté (Boucherville)
  • Eunice You (Laval)
  • Mingsha Zhou (Laval)
  • Meagan-Helen Henderson (Beaconsfield)

In addition to receiving the honour of being selected for Intel ISEF, our young

Québecers are elligible to win important prizes ($4 million in prizes and scholarships are awarded at this competition).

Participation by these young Québecers in Intel ISEF is made possible by the Educational Alliance for Science and Technology (EAST) and by Youth Science Canada.
