Regional finals

The Expo-sciences Hydro-Québec regional finals are for exhibitors at all levels from primary school all the way up to CÉGEP. There are 13 finals held all over Québec from February to April, all organized by the regional Conseils du loisir scientifique.

The top projects from all of these finals (except for primary school projects, which do not compete beyond the regional final level) move on to participate in the Super Expo-sciences Hydro-Québec, Québec Final.

Each regional final takes place over two or three days, and is open to the general public, who can meet the exhibitors and talk to them about their projects.

The regional finals are also a chance for exhibitors to make friends and socialize with hundreds of other young people, as well as take part in a number of activities, dedicated to science but also culture and sports.

To find out the dates of the regional finals for the current edition of the Science Fair, see the Calendar section.

To register for a regional final, see the To Register section.

If you have other questions about entering a regional final (e.g., entry fees, transportation, accommodations, food) contact the Conseil du loisir scientifique in your region.

Your school can host a regional final!

Hosting a regional final will generate enthusiasm for science that will spread throughout the year in your school! If you would like to submit your school as a candidate to host your regional final, contact the Conseil du loisir scientifique in your region.
